The Doctor is in the house – the Liberty House, that is!

I had the pleasure of working with the lovely Dr. Kellie Daly and her husband, Anthony Siino for their May 24, 2009 wedding. Kellie is a veteranarian who works in my town of Basking Ridge, New Jersey, where I have been taking my pets for years. Now my two cats get house calls Their wedding was so beautiful and held outdoors at The Liberty House in Jersey City, and it was so apparent that this couple is devoted to one another, their friends and family, which of course, includes a house of pets. The lovely and talented Michelle Lo Conte did Kellie’s makeup and hair, and Kellie’s dress is Amsale. Thank you Kellie and Anthony for being so great to work with, and for taking such good care of animals!

Annie’s Shower in NJ

: Annie – girl!

I met Annie while I was photographing her cousin’s wedding – the lovely Maria Fekete Brugg – and Annie was the MOH (or “Sarg”). Totally devoted to her cousin, and carrying around the “Sarg Kit” (aka emergency) all day – I knew I was going to love these families. We earlier photographed Annie and Pat’s engagement photos in their town of Washington, DC, where they will also be married at one of the most beautiful hotels there is – The Four Seasons.

I took the following photos at Annie’s NJ wedding shower at her parents’ home in Short Hills.

Suzi & Kevin, Pleasantdale Chateau

Even though it was a beautiful day outside on Saturday, May 2, it was as if the outdoors were brought inside for Suzi and Kevin’s wedding! Photographing weddings at the Pleasantdale Chateau gives me endless ways to be creative with each of my clients. It was an absolutely gorgeous ceremony and reception, with elegant pinks and golds washing the entire ballroom with cherry blossoms and orchids. Joan Glenn of 6 Degrees of Celebration was the Event Planner, with style and grace, as always.

4 Top Awards for PPANJ State Print Competition

On Sunday, 4/26/09, my husband and I attended the Awards Banquet for the PPANJ Print Competition because I had entered two prints this year, my first time entering the state competition. I was totally blown away and honored to receive four awards!! They are: Court of Honor Award (highest scoring print in Social – Wedding – category) for “Hampton Bride”; PPANJ Photograph of the Year, Social, “Hampton Bride”; The Kodak Gallery Award, and the Fuji Masterpiece Award both for “Abby in Zen”. My photograph of Abby was also selected as one of six “Judge’s Choice”.

Jill and Frank’s Wedding at The Venetian

It started out with a perfect-weather day – in March! Just this past Saturday, I photographed Jill and Frank’s wedding, and had the pleasure of meeting her family and all of the girls at the salon.
