Jodie + Brian’s Wedding at The Pierre Hotel, NYC, Featured in Inside Weddings Magazine

The Pierre Hotel in New York City is one of my favorite venues to photograph a wedding. It has beautiful New York City charm with amazing architectural details and a variety of locations throughout the hotel that are unique, not to mention the beautiful outdoor atmosphere of Central Park and the city lights which belong to this great city! And speaking of New York City charm – Jodie and Brian had the most beautiful, fun, poignant wedding celebration. It’s been nothing but joy for me to continue to work with Jodie’s family (see the lovely Robyn and Andy). Beautiful Day in New York City for Engagement Photos! Lauren + Collin

Saturday was the quintessential Spring day in New York City’s Central Park. I love this city – even more so on day like this, and when working with such great people!! Lauren and Collin created such a great atmosphere of ease and sense of humor when we were going from place to place. I feel lucky to be working with them, and can not wait for their big day at The Boathouse! Many thanks to them, and to my extremely able assistant Alana.

Robyn and Andy’s stunningly beautiful wedding at the landmark Plaza Hotel in New York City is currently featured in Inside Weddings Spring 2010 issue! I loved photographing their wedding for all of the beauty, the history of the hotel, high energy, and high emotion it contained.

Lindsay & Mike’s Personalized Wedding Guest Book

First, I have to say, I love this family to pieces! We’ve had unbelievably fun times, including two full days of engagement shoots: one day at the Jersey shore, and one day in Manhattan. It was Lindsay’s mom’s idea to have a variety of photos in order to put together a very personalized guest book for her daughter’s wedding. We had the beach and the amusement park practically to ourselves – and I was able to work on my whims and get to know a really amazing couple all throughout. And, in New York, we went everywhere! What a playground the city is Below is the layout and design I did for Lindsay & Mike’s Guest Book that developed from our day at the amusement park and beach. The city photos were used for other goodies, which I will share soon. I know this Guest Book is something that Lindsay and Mike will look back on for years to come – and I’m so happy to have been a part of it!

There is nothing quite like photographing a wedding in the beautiful, historic Plaza Hotel. Every moment was happy, every emotion was on their sleeves, from the early morning preparations to the very last song. The day danced along from highlight to highlight; from quiet to robust, with nothing but pure joy as Robyn and Andy’s families came together to celebrate their marriage and their families. I am so glad I have the chance to get to know these two families, and thank them very much for their kindness and thoughtfulness! Many thanks to my friend, Monika Broz, who worked with me and produced amazing images, as always! Flowers by the amazing Crest Florist, and one of my favorite bands – Starlight Orchestras - had everyone on the dancefloor from the moment they walked into the ballroom until the last song.
