Robyn and Andy’s stunningly beautiful wedding at the landmark Plaza Hotel in New York City is currently featured in Inside Weddings Spring 2010 issue! I loved photographing their wedding for all of the beauty, the history of the hotel, high energy, and high emotion it contained.

Nicole + Ben’s Engagement Photos

I’ve known Nicole for about five years because she assisted me with some of my work in wedding photography. Seeing Nicole as an employee showed me right away that she is smart, intuitive, creative, fun, energetic; and knowing Nicole as a bride-to-be and friend has been as rewarding as well. She is articulate, whimsical, compassionate and a great person to know and love. I am so honored and thrilled to death to be photographing Nicole and Ben’s wedding coming up this Fall at the beautiful Natirar in Bedminster, NJ. I look forward to every time we see eachother! Nicole and Ben seem to be a perfect complement to one another, and I know to expect the unexpected with this couple!

Erica and Billy’s Wedding at The Palace

During our first meeting, I really liked Erica and Billy very much – then we had an engagement photo session in their hometown in Hoboken, NJ. I take time to listen and talk, and learn as much as I can about them and their families. Being “present” to who they are and exactly what is important to them is key in documenting one of the most important days in their lives. It would be impossible to not love this couple – they are upbeat, energetic, and totally crazy about eachother – and it shows in every single image of them together! I have had so much fun with Erica and Billy; I really did not want it to end. Beautiful florals by Conroy’s – and so great to meet Cathy. Always beautiful and professional Vanity and Mascara for Erica’s hair and makeup, as well as her bridesmaids’. All of the amazing printed pieces designed by the amazing Kristen Green of Greenbean Designs. And I always love being at The Palace at Somerset Park, NJ; totally loved the fireworks!

Lauren & Brian’s Engagement Session in Hoboken, NJ

Even though there is a lot of spontaneity with my work during engagement sessions and weddings, some careful planning makes the end result even better! I always appreciate and love to talk to my clients beforehand about many different things, such as style, personalities, their backgrounds, the bride’s hair and makeup, and the end-use of the images. These things are crucial to successful photography. I really do photograph from my heart, and having the opportunity to talk to my clients makes this so much better – and is the reason I love it so much! Lauren and Brian did give me this opportunity, and what I discovered is a really beautiful relationship, a sense of confidence, true friendship and love with one another. We had a beautiful day in Hoboken, where they both live. There was a sense of quiet and calm, and I was so thrilled to be there with them. Lauren and Brian, it is such a pleasure to know you – I can’t tell you how excited I am to be photographing your winter wedding at The Venetian!!

Liz and Brendan’s Wedding in Philadelphia

I could tell in an instant it was the happiest day in their lives! As Liz said to me, everything was perfect – they couldn’t have asked for more. The day flew by with lots of tears (of joy) and laughter. Their poignent ceremony at the Sacred Heart Church in Trenton, was followed by a beautiful reception at the amazing Curtis Center in Philadelphia. I am so happy to know Liz and Brendan!
